While Bengaluru is reeling under the horror of mass molestation on New Year's Eve, here's the story of a brave woman who gave it back to her molester.

Chaitali Wasnik is a 24 year old photographer from Bengaluru. On the New Year's Eve, she was walking home from work at around 1:30 am. She decided to be casual because there was a lot of rush as well as police on the roads. But suddenly a man attacked her from behind. He was clearly drunk and expected Chitali to be a meek victim. But what followed, left him shocked and wounded.

She hit the man till a few people interfered and stopped her

Chaitali decided to give it back to the molester. And that was it. She hit the man till a few people interfered and stopped her. The man was obviously sorry for what he did but still refused to accept that he was at fault. Such is the audacity of characterless men these days.

Chaitali has become the hero of all the girls who are scared to talk about their bad encounters

Coming back to the story, after Chaitali had beaten the man black and blue, she took to FB to tell her side of the story. Since then, the said FB post has gone viral and Chaitali has become a hero of all the girls who are scared to talk about their bad encounters. Here is what she posted on FB.

We say, what she did is what is going to bring about a change in our society. Because our society and the rules it goes by are both lame. It's high time girls took their safety in their own hands and realised that they are not the 'VICTIMS'. What do you think?
