Baahubali 2 has officially crossed the 1500 crore mark and while it's makers are celebrating there is one Bollywood director who believes that Baahubali hasn't broken any records. He credits one movie released in 2001 for breaking all records and says that 'Baahubali 2' can never achieve that feat. So, who is the director and which movie are we talking about?
'Baahubali 2' has made Rs. 1500 crores and is showing no signs of stopping. Karan Johar recently posted a tweet talking about the numbers and his joy about where it is headed both nationally and internationally.

So, while the team was celebrating and everyone was discussing how 'Baahubali 2' has broken all box office records, one person popped up out of nowhere to say that it's all farce. He says Baahubali 2 has broken no records.
This person is the director of 'Gadar - Ek Prem Katha' director, Anil Sharma.
"It is just a matter of time. There was a time when, in 2001, Gadar : Ek Prem Katha was released and had done a business of 265 crore, which as per today's calculation is Rs. 5,000 crore."
He further added, "As mentioned, Gadar had done a business of Rs. 265 crore in 2001 when the ticket rates were Rs. 25 only. As per valuation, it is Rs. 5,000 crore today and Baahubali 2 has just reached some Rs. 1,500 crore, so no record has been broken."
Do you agree with this man? Do you think 'Gadar' was a bigger hit than 'Baahubali 2'?
